Hallway
Our actual hallway right now is covered in dirt from all the traipsing in and out with buckets and wheelbarrows of black ash plaster, it’s hard to imagine it looking like this.
even when it is cleaned up I’m not sure I’d be able to keep it looking like this, it’s lovely but not very practical colour for the hallway. Liking the owl umbrella pot, very cute.
Really like this practical storage bench for in the hallway, it’d be nice to have somewhere to sit and take shoes off.
Kitchen inspiration
Loving the idea of a white/ivory, turquoise and red kitchen/dining room. I’m not brave enough to have red or turquoise kitchen units however, think they’ll be predominately white or ivory. Mr W wants a completely wood kitchen but I’m worried it’ll be too dark and not work as well with the red turquoise colours, maybe he’ll prove me wrong. We’ve already knocked two of the downstairs rooms into one and plan on having the kitchen up one end and a nice big dining table up the other. These are some pics that have caught my eye:

I’d like a island breakfast bar, perhaps not as big as this one in the space we have
Definitely, definitely want the cooker, whether red, white or otherwise to live in the chimney breast, with a shelf above.
