Dining room inspiration
For the dining set I’d like some mismatched dining chairs around a big farmhouse table. I watched an episode of cracking antiques the other night where they made a table from some chunky oak floorboards, it looked lovely, little does Mr W know what I have planned for him.

I’ve already started collecting chairs. The three from the attic will be resurrected, they look like this:
Not very exciting I know but with a sand and a lick of paint I think they’ll work out. Then I picked these two lovelies up for the bargain price of £1 on ebay
They’re nice solid old oak chairs with a padded base. Now I’d like some banqueting chairs for the ends of the table and a bench oh and maybe a couple of stools too for good measure. Mr W better make a nice big table for all these chairs to fit round.
The house before
These are some photos of the house just before we purchased it in November 2010. It was full of old furniture and original fireplaces. Sadly the previous owner arranged for a house clearance so all the furniture went, but we still have the fireplaces and a large suspended clothes maid.
